THE ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE SUMMIT will provide a comprehensive update of recent advances in AD diagnosis and management. Leading experts Jeffrey L. Cummings, MD, and Pierre N. Tariot, MD, have assembled a faculty of key opinion leaders who will give brief lectures and provide question-and-answer opportunities for dialogue with participants. Russell Katz, MD, Director of Neurology Products, United States Food and Drug Administration, will provide an update on topics relevant to drug development as part of a concluding expert panel discussion.

Program Goal
The Summit will translate cutting-edge research into impactful knowledge applicable to the daily practices of an audience of 300 neurologists, psychiatrists, and primary care physicians.

Program Objectives
Upon completion of the activity, participants will be able to

1. Apply new clinical assessment techniques in their practice.
2. Distinguish when to use a specific type of imaging to assist in the diagnosis of AD.
3. Assess current available medications for the optimal management of AD.
4. Discuss treatment research related to amyloid-based therapies and neuroprotection.
